Communications and Grants


    Valarie Shumway picture  The communications and grants department has the responsibility to enhance the communications between the Wickenburg Unified School District, its constituents and the community and also to pursue competitive grants to enhance district programs and success.

     Responsibilites include: 

          Marketing the district to the community and constituents
          Coordinate WUSD's participation in community events, councils and organizations
          Manage district social media and website
          Manage employee and district awards
          Coordinate and promote the school tax credit program
          Serve as district volunteer coordinator
          Coordinate elections for the district
          Write District grants
