Welcome to Wickenburg Unified School District
Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year
Whether you are returning to Wickenburg Unified School District or are new to one of our communities, we welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year. We believe that every student can achieve their dreams, and we are dedicated to working with families and the community to support those dreams.
Although the start of the 2020-2021 school year will look different than others in the past, we remain committed to high-quality education programs that serve the needs of students from preschool through graduation. Our staff has been busy this summer, improving our remote learning process to increase student engagement and success. We have prepared comprehensive plans to address the needs of students, staff and community when we are able to engage in learning on our campuses. We invite you to review plans and updates at www.wickenburgschools.org/reopen
Wickenburg Unified School District is proud of the success of our students and schools and we look forward to continuing to be “Wickenburg Strong.”
Again, welcome to WUSD. We are happy you are here.

Why Choose WUSD?
The Wickenburg Virtual Academy serves grades K-12 with online instruction. Online students are encouraged to come to the classroom for any extra assistance they need.
Hassayampa Elementary School, Vulture Peak Middle School and Wickenburg High School have received the 21st Century Learning Program grant. This allows the implementation of programs which help enrich our students' education.
Festival Foothills Elementary School is and "A" rated school and was highlighted in Time magazine for the implementation of the Knewton adaptive math program.
WUSD is becoming a lighthouse school district, and our students are the big winners. They will continually grow academically and will be better prepared for continuing their education through our WUSD staff’s tremendous efforts and hard work towards fulfilling our focus statement, specifically moving each student to the next level academically.
