Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year

Thank you for choosing WUSD for your child’s education. Whether you are returning to Wickenburg Unified School District or are new to one of our communities, we are happy you are here.

We believe that every student can achieve their dreams, and we are dedicated to working with families and the community to support those dreams. 

We are a small district that covers over 1,100 square miles of land. Three of our schools are located in Wickenburg, and one is in the fast-growing city of Buckeye. We have an award-winning virtual academy that serves students in grades 4-12. Although we are spread out over many miles, our schools and district maintain a small town culture, where everyone feels at home.

Our theme for this year is: Choose Happy! The theme this year was selected to help all of us remain focused on the good. We can not control everything, but we can control our attitudes and mindset. Research supports positive attitudes leading to more fulfilling lives. We want our students, staff, parents and community to have full, rich lives and we invite you all to join us in living our theme!
