Wickenburg Virtual Academy Enrollment Registration FAQs

  • Who do I contact for questions or help during the enrollment process?

Reach out to our Registrar at 928-684-6717.

    What is Online Enrollment?

All information required to enroll your student in a W.U.S.D. school will be submitted through the Enrollment Portal on the school district website.

What is required to start the Online Enrollment process?

A ParentVue account must be created and accessible.

What information/documentation is needed to enroll?

All documents can be submitted through a phone that supports documents being added to the website.

    • Proof of residency dated within the last three months
    • Official Birth Certificate
    • Withdrawal form from previous school
    • Previous school’s name, address and phone number
    • Current IEP or other Special Education records
    • Disciplinary records
    • Unofficial transcript (if in high school)
    • Immunization record

Is my student automatically enrolled after I submit the online application?

No. Your status will remain pending, and our staff will contact families to confirm enrollment. At minimum, the orientation video will need to be watched and the online student/parent contract submitted before being accepted. For grades 4-8 there will be a meeting between the family and school administration before the student is enrolled in our school.

I have more than one student in the District. Do I have to do the enrollment process multiple times?

Each child will have to be registered for the school they plan on attending, but the documentation only needs to be uploaded once for the family.

What if my high school student wants to take one concurrent class through WVA?

The student will need to meet with their high school counselor to determine what class should be taken. Once this is done, the student and parent will have to fill out a hard copy of the proof of residency form and submit it to our Registrar before the student can be enrolled in an online course through us. WVA staff will meet with the student to set up course and provide training, if needed.
