• Superintendent Search Survey

    Dear Parents and Community of Wickenburg School District,
    After 11 years of dedicated service to Wickenburg Unified School District, Superintendent Dr. Howard Carlson is retiring at the end of 2019-2020 school year. Dr. Carlson has led the District with vision and hard work and will be greatly missed.
    The School Board has hired ASBA (Arizona School Board’s Association) to help conduct a search for a new superintendent. As part of the search, ASBA has conducted a community survey to gain input on the character and qualities the Board should be looking for in a superintendent.  Results can be found in the link below.

    First day of school is July 29

    During the March 7 school board meeting, the Governing Board unanimously approved the 4-day school week.  We appreciate the input from staff, parents and community that helped gather the necessary information to make the decision.  Information and updates can be found under the 4 day tab above or click on link below.
