Extra Curricular Involvement

  • Student Council

The student council members are responsible for planning many events at Vulture Peak such as dances, movie nights, spirit weeks, pep assemblies, and even food drives. Elected members of Student Council must be a good role model at all times and do well in their classes. The next Student Council events are:

The yearbook class meets during 8th hour with Ms. Vaughn. The yearbook staff consists of 11 students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. These students take pictures, build the yearbook, and help with the sales of the yearbook. For more information, e-mail our yearbook staff.

The Vulture Peak Chorus, directed by Camille Boyle, is a combined group of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students that like to sing and have fun! Any new student with a love of music is welcome to join! This class is offered during both 1st and 3rd hour, and it’s a full-year course so make sure you sign up at the beginning of the year. Students in this class will learn the basics of what it takes to become a well-rounded musician while singing great songs from many different genres. The Vulture Peak Chorus will showcase their skills three times a year at the Holiday Concert, and Spring Pops Concert held at the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts.

    Our next choir event is:

    • Holiday Concert, watch for date and time
