Band

Band is more than just playing an instrument. The program begins in 6th grade and is best enjoyed as a seven-year adventure. Brave participants are guaranteed to make strong friendships, hone leadership skills, and be challenged each and every day. Learning an instrument is really quite easy, but it must be done right! The Vulture Peak band is taught by the WHS band teacher and includes flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto and tenor saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, baritone/euphonium, tuba, and percussion.
Choir
The Vulture Peak Chorus, directed by Camille Boyle, is a combined group of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students that like to sing and have fun! Any new student with a love of music is welcome to join! This class is a full-year course so make sure you sign up at the beginning of the year. Students in this class will learn the basics of what it takes to become a well-rounded musician while singing great songs from many different genres. The Vulture Peak Chorus will showcase their skills twice a year at the Holiday Concert, and Spring Pops Concert held at the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts.
