Dear Festival Foothills Families:
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are very excited to welcome you back to Festival Foothills Elementary School. Going into my 2nd year as principal, I am very excited with the plans and direction we are going to provide our students with a positive, successful school experience.
We are looking forward to continuing to interweave our culture of “Falcons SOAR” with our families, staff, and students. Our teachers return to work on July 22, 2023 and will be preparing their classrooms and getting ready to greet students. They are looking forward to helping our “Falcons SOAR” again this year.

We are still currently in the process of filling some remaining open positions. Please reach out if you, or someone you know, may be interested in joining our amazing school family. Our open positions are posted on the Wickenburg Unified School District webpage.
Meet the Teacher Night is Thursday, July 25th from 4:00-6:00. Class lists and teacher assignments will be posted at Meet the Teacher Night. Classroom teachers will have additional information for parents available that evening and the supply lists for classes can be found on our school website. Our PTA officers will have a table set up that night. We encourage you to join! They will be happy to answer any questions about membership and the role PTA plays in supporting our school.
School starts Monday, July 29th at 8am. Parents will be permitted to walk their children to the classroom on the first day of school. Our campus opens at 7:40 for breakfast daily. After the first day of school, parents will need to make an appointment with the classroom teacher to go to the classroom if needed. Starting the second day of school, students will walk independently to their classrooms from their arrival location. School staff will be in the hallways and on campus to support our younger students that may need assistance.
