• Career Technical Education (CTE) is a pathway that provides students with the academic, technical, and real-world knowledge, skills and experience they need to be prepared for a variety of career options while still in high school. CTE gives students training and skills in many different types of careers in industries such as agricultural science, coding and technology, and digital media. CTE programs are personalized, hands-on, and let students explore different career fields. CTE offers WHS students the opportunity to prepare for the full range of post-secondary opportunities, including college and careers.

CTE Pathways at Wickenburg High School include: Film & TV; Business Management; Coding; Culinary Arts; Agricultural Science; and Sports Medicine. These programs are housed on the WHS campus in CTE classrooms and learning labs with qualified CTE instructors who have industry experience in their field. Students enrolled in CTE courses at WHS are highly encouraged to engage in the Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO) associated with each respective program while enrolled in the course.

Students also have the opportunity to apply to West-MEC to engage in CTE programs other than those offered at the WHS campus. Find more information about West-MEC here.
