Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Learning Disabilities)
I grew up in Papillion, Ne. and moved to Phoenix when I was 12 years old. I graduated from Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Az. I have lived in Wickenburg for 10 years. After being a stay at home mom for many years, I began working as a Paraprofessional at Wickenburg High School for 4 years. I then attended Prescott College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Learning Disabilities) and Allied Health. Over the last four years, I have taught English Skills and am currently teaching Life Skills. I also coach Special Olympics.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Aaron for 27 years and we have four children, two daughters and two sons. We enjoy spending time together as a family through sports, especially wrestling-where my husband is the head coach. We also enjoy camping, spending time at the beach, and riding horses. I enjoy serving my community and helping others as much as possible through various boards I am on such as, Champions of Wickenburg Youth and the Wickenburg Athletics Boosters.
