The WUSD Maintenance and Operations Override was renewed in 2022. The override is renewed every 5 years and, thanks to our supportive taxpayers, has been continuously in place for 27 years.  There are 3 main points to the override:

• This is not a new tax. It is a renewal that has been in place since 1995.  Taxpayers will not be asked to consider this issue again until 2026.
• Compensates for funding shortages from state and federal sources.
• Used for teachers and support staff salaries and benefits.
